Salsify CULTURE: Select a sunny location with light porous soil. In early spring, deeply till soil. Place seeds 1/2″ deep, 2″ apart. HARVEST: October to spring. Dig with a spade or fork. Use fresh or can for later use. Roots can also be stored in damp sand in a cool place.
