CULTURE: sow seeds in early spring for a spring crop or in late summer for fall crop. Place seeds 1/4’ DEEP, 1-3’ apart in a single row or seeds can also be spread over a large area like you would grass seed. For large turnips, thin to a 4-6” spacing. Use thinned turnip plants as baby turnips. Tops can be used as turnip greens. HARVEST: To harvest root, wait until they are 2-4” across. Pull entire plant.
