Root Stimulator & Plant Starter Solution 4-10-3
Use every time you plant trees, shrubs, roses, annuals and perennials to stimulate early root formation and stronger root development. Reduces transplant shock and promotes greener, more vigorous plants. Also contains B-1, indole butyric acid and a wetting agent. Application Rates: Flowers, shrubs and trees: 3-1/2 tablespoons per gallon of water. House plants: 1/2 cup per quart of soil.
Can be applied any time from late September through early April. Often, best results are obtained when fertilization is done after the first hard freeze in October, but before the soil freezes in December. During this period, the soil temperature is still warm enough for roots to take up minerals, which are then stored for growth the following spring. The second-best time to fertilize is in March or April, just before new growth begins. Fertilizing after mid-July may stimulate late growth that can be damaged by an early freeze.
